Polaris Fencing Center

Our Mission

Founded in Winter 2024, Polaris Fencing Center is a foil fencing club in Orange, NJ established by Olympic Coach, Brian Kaneshige and Olympic Gold Medalist, Jackie Dubrovich. After their return from the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Jackie won a Team Gold Medal in Women's Foil, both coaches shared a unified mission: build a strong club culture rooted in an inclusive community of passionate, hard-working fencers.

Our coaching staff brings decades of combined experience at every level of the sport, from Youth fencing to the Olympics, and pour that experience into a holistic approach to develop fierce competitors who bring out their personal best on the strip. Just as important, they've built Polaris to be a place where fencers train alongside and support one another, forming lasting friendships and a genuine sense of belonging that extends well beyond competition. That community, they believe, is what helps athletes grow into leaders both on the strip and in their lives outside of fencing.

Whether your fencer is a young beginner embarking on a new lifelong journey, or a seasoned competitor striving to accomplish significant milestones, our coaches look forward to joining that story at Polaris Fencing Center.
